How the gold calculator works
Our calculator pulls the live spot price of gold and multiplies it by the purity of your karat. 24k gold is essentially pure (99.9%), 22k is 91.6% pure, 18k is 75% pure and 14k is 58.5% pure. Multiply weight in grams by the per-gram price of the chosen karat to get the raw market value of your scrap gold.
